Guess Who?

Hi friends! I have been stitching on my secret project daily, but it is a big one. So I also began this.
Can you tell who we have here? A hint would be that I need to work on this during the day while Madeleine is in school, as this is going to be her Christmas ornament. It is Winky! Her pet parakeet. ;) I am stitching him one over one on a pretty pale blue sponged 28 count evenweave by True Colors.

I drew the name of the winner for the Bent Creek Snapper Dinner's Ready. Gracie you are the winner! I have emailed you. :)

I am grateful the cortisone shots given in my hip bursas (outer, upper thighs on both legs) worked to relieve the pain. That is gone. For now at least. It is the usual hip pain on the left side that is the pits. Oh well. Whatcha gonna do?!

Thank you for your kind words and friendship. I hope you have a wonderful day in the Lord!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Awww!! So sweet that lovely parrot. I maybe can tell you that is "Pauly" heheehe, but i'm reading is Winky huhu! So, i recently walked so much with my son, and did water cycling for a month, that help me enough. I'm always praying for those like us that are suffering this horrible pain. Mabel & Henry are lovely like always. Maybe we will adopte a "Mabel gray poodle" too, maybe. It's a sad story, i hope we could have him ( is a he) Cause there are 2 person that are able to have this lovely & cute furry.
Big hugs dear friend.

When I was a school girl I also have had parakeets -they were very lovely and friendly little birds who sit on my finger. One of them was almost white called Santra ,then there where one blue called Severi ( he was a male.) The yellow and green where also girls called Siiri and Saara :)

I loved them so much :)

What a nice idea to stitch the parakeet. And it will be a wonderful surprise.

At least the steroid shots did their magic where they were supposed to. Take care and hope the hip isn't too, too bad.

This will be a lovely stitched gift, I do admire you stitching over one. Your poodle pals are so cute, ours had a bath today - not his favourite thing:-)

She is going to love her ornament this year...very thoughtful Mom. I feel for you those cortisone shots. I had to get one in my right elbow a few years ago and I've never felt such pain. Tears were a rolling after that one but I'm happy they've helped with your pain.
